How Do I Print Samples of the Fonts installed
in my Computer?
Ok there are 2 basic methods to do this (and I'm sure many more
but we'll talk about 2).
The first requires a lot of paper (sometimes over 100 pages) but
is already available in your Windows programs. You will need to
print out each font on 1 single of piece of paper. And each meaning
the normal, the bold, the italic, the italic bold version, etc.
This can be time consuming and turn into a book of fonts but does
not require additional software.
The Second will require you to download and possibly purchase a
program that will allow you to print the actual sample of your fonts
on just a few sheets of paper. This is by far the handier method
when showing clients font samples. These types of programs also
let you create html pages, send emails and all kinds of handy features
when working with your fonts.
I personally recommend the second method.
1st Method (Built into Windows):
1. Open the folder containing your fonts. In most cases installed
Windows TrueType fonts will be in the Fonts folder located on your
C drive.
2. Select the font you would like to print.
3. Right-click on the font and choose Open. A window will open with
information about the name of the font, file size, copyright, and
actual type face examples in sizes ranging from 12 to 72 points.
4. To print the sample page click the Print button and follow instructions
to print.
2nd Method (Requires a program):
1. Goto http://www.styopkin.com/details_free_and_easy_fonts_viewer.html
to learn more information and download the free program to view,
print and send people examples of your fonts.
