Shawn's computer career started at the ripe age of 9 when his parents bought him his first computer, the Tandy TRS-80. While most kids were doing the GI Joe thing, Shawn found enjoyment in writing software programs after school and on weekends.
The first proprietary software programs Shawn wrote included interactive text to speech programs (audio), graphic animation screen savers and rudimentary video games with color graphics. Shawn later attended Bishop Stang High School in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. While at Stang Shawn focused most of his studies in the Arts and entrepreneurial ventures. After graduation, Shawn attended Dean college to further expand his Art direction.
Shawn has worked with major corporations through his 15 year work span including, The New York Times, Clear Channel, Jay Cashman Inc, Whirlpool and the Boston Bruins just to name a few. In each position, Shawn not only brought his creative and dynamic abilities to projects, he also learned valuable skills in the REAL business world. Shawn is fully versed in the following areas and software programs: HTML, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Unix, Windows, Mac, hand
coding, custom development of shopping carts, online estimating
software, search engine optimizing with millions of #1 rankings,
content management systems, updatable websites, presentation websites
using sound and animation, media purchasing, logo design, branding,
brochures, marketing and online business consulting. Shawn is available for consulting on a per day contract basis. |
